Become a Member

Veterans put their lives on the line for their country; becoming a member of the Legion is the ultimate way to show your appreciation for that service. Your membership also helps provide essential services within our communities, including seniors support services, housing and care for the elderly, drop-in centres, Cadets, youth and sport programs, and much more.

There are three ways to get your application. You can come down to the branch and ask the person behind the bar to get you one, you can go online, or you can download the application here.

The Legion cannot do it's good work without the support of it's members. Member Volunteers keep the doors open and provide a visible presence of the Legion. Please consider helping out when and where you can.

Volunteer Opportunities

The following are some of the activities in which the Branch can use your assistance:

Become a Volunteer

All donations to the Poppy Fund are placed in trust to be used for the care and benevolent support of Veterans and their dependants. We regret online donations are not currently available. The Legion cannot issue receipts for Revenue Canada due to our non-for-profit status.

In-Kind Donation

The Ways and Means Committee of the Jasper Place Legion branch #255 is calling upon our local community and businesses to ask for your support by way of a Gift-in-Kind donation of any products and/or services that can be used for fundraising activities (i.e. basket draws, silent auctions, ticket sales, etc.).  Your generous support by way of company items, cash donations, gift cards, spa certificates, restaurant certificates, hair/salon gift certificates, floral donations, etc., would definitely help this worthy cause.

Sponsors will be recognized at events by way of announcement and visually by inclusion of your company business card or logo with the donation.  Your consideration is greatly appreciated.

Should you have any questions about the Jasper Place Legion, please call or email the branch.
